Bright visuals and engaging illustrations in report design
BreastScreen Victoria came to us with a clear brief, and desire for a new creative concept. We were tasked with creating a very organic, hand illustrated, predominantly visual way to communicate a new strategic plan. Elements designed for the report were to work as stand-alone objects of communication too – in digital communications and on posters around the office.
We had lots of fun experimenting with various colour palettes and changing characteristics of the illustrations to ensure our graphics were inclusive and representative.
Clothing patterns were used as motifs throughout the report, and text boxes were all hand drawn. Perhaps the greatest challenge was creating a content-rich yet engaging centrefold, which could be extracted and hung on the wall for easy reference.
